Step preview

  1. Add chicken breasts to your cutting board
  2. Cut each chicken breast into roughly 1 inch strips
  3. Add whisked egg to a medium bowl
  4. Add breadcrumbs to a plate and season with salt and pepper
  5. Dip each chicken strip into the egg mixture and let any excess egg mixture drip off back into the bowl
  6. Add the egg-coated chicken strips to the breadcrumbs and coat both sides of each chicken strip
  7. Using a spray oil or brush lightly oil the air fryer basket
  8. Add the coated chicken to the air fryer basket in a single layer and spray with a light coating of oil
  9. Air fry for 15 mins
  10. After 15 mins turn the chicken strips and air fry for a further 10 mins
  11. Serve with your favourite dipping sauce or on a Caesar salad
