Step preview

  1. Add pecan halves to a clean small bowl
  2. Heat until toasted - 4 min, low heat
  3. Chop then set aside
  4. Add cookie crumbs, dark brown sugar and sea salt to a clean medium bowl
  5. Transfer nuts to mixture
  6. Mix until combined
  7. Add maple syrup, vanilla extract and bourbon to the mixture
  8. Stir thoroughly until well combined
  9. Shape into a ball
  10. Place mixture on baking sheet
  11. Chill in freezer - 2 hr
  12. Add dark chocolate to a clean medium glass bowl
  13. Melt in microwave
  14. Dip balls into chocolate mixture
  15. Transfer onto cooling rack
  16. Decorate
  17. Chill in fridge until set
