Step preview

  1. Preheat the oven to 190°C
  2. Dry feta block with a paper towel and brush it with honey
  3. Roll in pine nuts on each side
  4. Put the feta cheese in a small ovenproof dish and pour over the olive oil
  5. Melt the butter in a saucepan and add chopped garlic
  6. Cut the French bread/baguette lengthwise
  7. Pour your garlic butter into the sliced baguette and wrap it tightly with baking paper
  8. Bake feta and bread for 15-18 minutes until the nuts are golden brown and the cheese is tender
  9. Unwrap and slice your garlic french bread
  10. Serve honey-baked feta immediately in an ovenproof dish (place a kitchen cloth underneath it) with thyme (if using)
