Beetroots are a great source of fiber, vitamin B9, manganese, potassium, iron, and vitamin C. This pretty hummus is great on sandwiches, or try serving it with the Five Seed Crackers as a dip.

Step preview

  1. Add garlic clove and fresh beet to the TM5 bowl
  2. Chop with MC in place 3 sec, speed 6
  3. Scrape down sides of TM5 bowl
  4. Add canned chickpeas, tahini, salt, black pepper, olive oil, ground cumin, paprika and water to the TM5 bowl
  5. Secure the Thermomix lid
  6. Squeeze the lemon juice through the lid
  7. Blend for 20 sec, speed 4 with MC in place
  8. Scrape down sides of TM5 bowl
  9. Blend 20 sec, speed 4 with MC in place
  10. Scrape down sides of TM5 bowl
  11. Serve
