Step preview

  1. In a bowl soak your raisins in the rum
  2. Soak for 1 hour
  3. After the raisins have been soaking, in a microwave safe bowl add chocolate, butter and condensed milk
  4. Heat in the microwave for 2 mins, stopping half way to stir, and return for remaining 1 min until chocolate has melted
  5. Remove bowl from the microwave and mix well, the mixture will be thick and sticky
  6. Add the raisins and half of the rum liquid. Mix well and taste, if you want more rum add the remaining half
  7. Transfer the bowl to the fridge for 2-24 hours
  8. After your mix has set, add some cocoa powder to a large bowl or plate.
  9. Form truffle balls and add them to the cocoa powder, rolling them around to cover in cocoa
  10. Repeat until mixture is all formed into truffle balls
