Making your own tender, sticky spare ribs at home doesn’t need to be daunting. Mix up the marinade and let the ribs do their thing in the oven while you prepare a side slaw or fries. Ask your butcher to remove the membrane from the ribs when you buy them to save having to do it yourself.

    2 teaspoons

Step preview

  1. Pre-heat oven - 200°C
  2. Add pork ribs to a clean large roasting dish
  3. Add ketchup, honey, dark soy sauce, olive oil, malt vinegar, dijon mustard and salt & pepper to a clean large mixing bowl
  4. Mix until combined
  5. Brush half of marinade with pork and continue
  6. Bake - 30 min, 200°C
  7. Remove
  8. Bake until golden brown - approx 30 min, 200°C
  9. Remove from Oven
  10. Cool - approx 5 min
  11. Divide evenly
  12. Serve immediately
