Step preview

  1. Pre-heat oven - 199°C
  2. Line a clean muffin pan with paper muffin cups
  3. Add egg, granulated sugar, milk and sunflower oil to a clean large mixing bowl
  4. Whisk briefly
  5. Add all purpose flour, baking powder, salt, ground cloves and ground cinnamon to the batter
  6. Fold gently until just combined
  7. Add plum to the batter
  8. Mix gently
  9. Spoon batter into muffin pan
  10. Bake until skewer tests clean - 18 min, 199°C
  11. Transfer onto cooling rack
