Step preview

  1. Add water and salt to a clean large saucepan
  2. Boil - high heat
  3. Boil until softened - 8 min, medium-high heat
  4. Drain
  5. Transfer a clean Dutch oven
  6. Heat a clean frying pan - medium heat
  7. Add cauliflower and onion to the frying pan
  8. Fry until lightly browned - 5 min, medium-high heat
  9. Transfer Dutch oven
  10. Add vegetable oil, garlic clove, garam masala, ground cumin, ground turmeric and chili powder to the frying pan
  11. Heat until fragrant - 30 sec, medium-high heat
  12. Add vegetable stock and tomato to the frying pan
  13. Boil - medium-high heat
  14. Transfer Dutch oven
  15. Cover with foil
  16. Bake until tender - 45 min, 200°C
  17. Serve
