- Pearl barley
- 75 g

- Self raising flour

- Add pork tenderloin to a clean work surface
- Season
- Heat vegetable oil to a clean Dutch oven
- Fry pork in Dutch oven bit by bit until browned
- Transfer content of Dutch oven to plate
- Add vegetable oil, onion and leek to the Dutch oven
- Fry - 5 min, medium heat
- Transfer content of plate to Dutch oven
- Add bay leaves and chicken stock to the Dutch oven
- Simmer
- Stir pearl barley into the Dutch oven and cover
- Cook until thickened - 1 hr 30 min, low heat
- Add self raising flour, suet and salt & pepper to a clean small bowl
- Mix until combined
- Add water to the dough
- Mix until dough forms
- Add prunes to the Dutch oven
- Spoon dough into Dutch oven and cover
- Cook until light and fluffy - 15 min, low heat
- Serve
