Step preview

  1. Add water and salt to a clean large saucepan
  2. Boil - high heat
  3. Add farfalle to the large saucepan
  4. Cook until al dente
  5. Drain then set aside
  6. Add olive oil to the large saucepan
  7. Heat - low heat
  8. Add garlic clove to the large saucepan
  9. Cook gently - 30 sec, low heat
  10. Boil and bring to a boil - medium heat
  11. Season with salt & pepper
  12. Simmer - 5 min, low heat
  13. Remove and turn off heat
  14. Transfer pasta to the saucepan
  15. Add unsalted butter to the large saucepan
  16. Toss with slotted spoon until melted
  17. Serve with parmesan cheese
