Step preview

  1. Add salt and water to a clean large saucepan
  2. Boil - high heat
  3. Add spaghetti to the saucepan
  4. Cook until al dente - medium-high heat
  5. Heat a clean frying pan - medium heat
  6. Add pancetta to the frying pan
  7. Fry until crispy - 5 min, high heat
  8. Add egg, parmesan cheese, fresh parsley and single cream to a clean small bowl
  9. Beat until well combined
  10. Season with salt & pepper then set aside
  11. Drain pasta
  12. Transfer pasta to frying pan
  13. Cook while stirring occasionally - low heat
  14. Pour egg mixture into frying pan
  15. Stir quickly
  16. None
  17. Stir until creamy
  18. Serve immediately
