Step preview

  1. Add pork ribs, onion, carrot, bay leaves, malt vinegar, black peppercorns and salt to a clean slow cooker bowl
  2. Add water to the meat
  3. Cook in slow cooker until tender - 7 hr, high heat
  4. Line a clean baking pan with foil
  5. Once cooked transfer ribs to the baking pan
  6. Broil in grill - high heat
  7. Add English mustard, allspice, tomato paste, brown sugar and maple syrup to a clean medium bowl
  8. Mix 2/3 cup of hot stock reserved from the slow cooker bowl
  9. Spoon glaze into baking pan
  10. Broil in grill until browned - 15 min, high heat
  11. Add corn kernels, carrot, plain yogurt, red cabbage, mayonnaise and spring onion to a clean medium bowl
  12. Serve ribs with the salad
