This sauce is considered to be one of the spicier types of tomato sauces from Italy, we use one chilli, but you can turn up the heat by adding more. Serve with penne pasta, topped with basil and Parmesan cheese.

- Tinned chopped tomatoes
- 800 g

- Salt & pepper
- 1 pinch

- Fresh basil leaves

Step preview
- Fit thick slicing disc (5) to direct prep attachment
- Fit direct prep attachment to kCook Multi
- Fit stir tool to kCook bowl
- Add olive oil to the kCook bowl
- Fit kCook bowl to kCook Multi
- Attach lid to kCook bowl
- Heat with filler cap removed - 120°C, speed 3
- Turn direct prep attachment to position 1
- Slice onion into the kCook bowl with direct prep attachment
- Turn direct prep attachment to position 2
- Add fresh chilli to the kCook bowl
- Add garlic clove to the kCook bowl
- Cook with filler cap removed - 5 min, 120°C, speed 3
- Then add tomato purée, tinned chopped tomatoes, cherry tomatoes and salt & pepper to the kCook bowl
- Cook with filler cap removed - 25 min, 98°C, speed 3
- Garnish with pasta, fresh basil leaves and parmesan cheese to taste
