- 100 g

- 80 g

- Ground ginger
- ½ tablespoon

- Bicarbonate of soda
- 1 teaspoon

- 2 tablespoons

Step preview
- Pre-heat oven - 190°C
- Measure coconut oil a clean saucepan
- Add golden syrup to the saucepan
- Heat until melted while stirring occasionally - medium heat
- Set aside and continue
- Add pastry flour, coconut sugar, rolled oats, ground ginger and bicarbonate of soda to a clean large mixing bowl
- Mix briefly until combined
- Transfer liquid to mixture
- Mix
- Add water to the mixture
- Mix until dough forms
- Line a clean baking sheet with parchment paper
- Divide mixture with teaspoon
- Roll into balls
- Transfer mixture to baking sheet
- Bake - approx 15 min, 190°C
- Transfer onto cooling rack and let cool
