This recipe has been part of my holiday traditions ever since my friend sent it to me in a care package. We are a military family and were, yet again, far from home. My friend sent a beautiful box of homemade bark along with the recipe. It was so decadent and comforting. Every year since, I make a lovely batch and make sure that I share it with someone who may need a little extra comfort or support over the holidays. I am happy to submit this recipe as part of Drop's Holiday Recipe Swap.

  • Dark chocolate icon

  • Peanut butter chips icon
    Peanut butter chips
    140 g

Step preview

  1. Prepare a clean baking sheet with parchment paper
  2. Add dark chocolate to a clean heatproof bowl
  3. Melt slowly in double boiler - medium heat
  4. Add peanut butter chips to a clean medium bowl
  5. Melt
  6. Transfer content of heatproof bowl to baking sheet
  7. Transfer content of medium bowl to baking sheet
  8. Set aside until set - approx 2 hr
  9. Cut
