This Lemon Custard (also known as lemon curd) is super easy to make in your Thermomix. Use it in desserts to break the sweetness.

Step preview

  1. Wash, dry and scratch the lemon to peel its zest (only the yellow part of the skin)
  2. Add all the ingredients except the cinnamon stick to the Thermomix
  3. Mix - 5 sec, speed 6
  4. Scrape down sides of TM6 bowl
  5. Add the cinnamon stick
  6. Set the Thermomix to 8 minutes / 90°C/ reverse speed 3.5
  7. Scrape down sides of TM6 bowl
  8. Remove the cinnamon stick and pour the mixture into a bowl
  9. Cover with transparent film and let stand for 20 minutes
  10. Chill in fridge
