Step preview

  1. In a small bowl make the garlic oil by adding olive oil and crushed garlic
  2. Mix to combine and set your garlic oil to the side
  3. Add asparagus spears to a plate
  4. Snap each of the asparagus spears and discard of the asparagus woody ends
  5. Drizzle asparagus with 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  6. Using your clean hands mix the oil and asparagus tips, making sure each asparagus piece gets a light coating in oil
  7. Add the oiled asparagus in a single layer to your air fryer basket
  8. Air fry for 10 mins
  9. After 10 mins carefully remove the air fryer basket and shake the asparagus in the basket
  10. Return to air fry for a further 4 mins
  11. Once ready add the air fried asparagus to a serving plate
  12. Season with salt and pepper
  13. Drizzle with 3 teaspoons of the garlic oil and add a handful of the grated parmesan
  14. Finally drizzle with balsamic reduction and serve
