Step preview

  1. Add unsalted butter, cream cheese and granulated sugar to a clean large mixing bowl
  2. Cream until light and fluffy - medium speed
  3. Add egg, vanilla extract and lemon to the dough
  4. Add plain flour, baking powder and salt to the dough
  5. Mix until dough forms - medium speed
  6. Wrap with plastic wrap
  7. Chill in fridge - approx 1 hr
  8. Pre-heat oven - 175°C
  9. Line 2 clean baking sheets with parchment paper
  10. Cut
  11. Transfer dough to 2 baking sheets
  12. Bake until browned at edges - 8 min, 175°C
  13. Let cool onto cooling rack
  14. Add egg white to a clean large mixing bowl
  15. Whisk until frothy - medium speed
  16. Add powdered sugar to the icing
  17. Whisk until thick
  18. Decorate cookies with piping bag
