Step preview

  1. Cut the carrots and parsnips into fries size strips
  2. Add the carrot and parsnip 'fries' to a microwave - safe dish
  3. Microwave on High for 4 mins
  4. Mix
  5. Microwave on High for a further 4 mins
  6. Add the microwaved veggies to the enamel tray
  7. Scatter the butter over the vegetables, drizzle the honey all over and sprinkle the cinnamon and nutmeg
  8. Season with salt and pepper
  9. Place the enamel tray onto the wire rack
  10. Broil on Broil 1 for 10 mins
  11. Mix and broil for a further 15 mins
  12. Mix and broil if needed for a further 5 mins
  13. Sprinkle with the sesame seeds and toss everything
  14. Add your veggies to a serving plate making sure to scrape down the remaining honey butter from the enamel tray to pour over the veggies and serve hot
