- Line 2 clean baking sheets with parchment paper
- Pre-heat oven - 174°C
- Add dark chocolate and salted butter to a clean medium glass bowl
- Melt - low heat
- Add granulated sugar, egg and vanilla extract to a clean large mixing bowl
- Whisk until pale and light
- Fold chocolate mixture into batter
- Add plain flour, cocoa powder and baking powder to a clean medium bowl
- Sift dry ingredients into batter
- Fold briefly until just combined
- Scoop batter onto 2 baking sheets
- Shape with teaspoon
- Bake - 7 min, 174°C
- Transfer onto cooling rack until completely cool
- Add unsalted butter and cream cheese to a clean large mixing bowl
- Beat until smooth
- Add powdered sugar and vanilla extract to the frosting
- Beat until smooth
- Assemble pie with piping bag
