Step preview

  1. Add water to a clean large saucepan
  2. Boil - high heat
  3. Add soba noodles to the noodles
  4. Cook until tender and continue - 5 min
  5. Add vegetable oil to a clean saucepan
  6. Heat - medium heat
  7. Add spring onion and garlic clove to the saucepan
  8. Fry gently - approx 1 min
  9. Add fresh chilli, ginger, black bean sauce and vegetable stock to the soup
  10. Boil
  11. Add pak choi, soy sauce, caster sugar and peanuts to the soup
  12. Simmer gently - 4 min
  13. Drain noodles
  14. Rinse
  15. Transfer noodles to small bowl
  16. Ladle soup into small bowl
  17. Serve immediately
