Step preview

  1. Heat olive oil to a clean Dutch oven
  2. Add onion to the Dutch oven
  3. Cook until softened
  4. Add garlic clove to the Dutch oven
  5. Cook - 3 min
  6. Crumble sausage over the Dutch oven
  7. Add fennel seeds to the Dutch oven
  8. Cook until light golden - 10 min
  9. Stir in red wine, tomato sauce, tomato purée and fresh oregano to the Dutch oven
  10. Simmer
  11. Cook until thick - 30 min, low heat
  12. Season with salt & pepper to taste
  13. Pre-heat in grill - medium heat
  14. Crumble instant polenta over the Dutch oven
  15. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese and cheddar cheese
  16. Broil in grill until melted - 5 min, medium heat
  17. Serve
