Step preview

  1. Add onion, ginger, white wine vinegar, star anise pod and cinnamon stick to a clean medium bowl
  2. Cover with plastic wrap
  3. Chill overnight
  4. Get a clean slow cooker bowl
  5. Add tea and water to the slow cooker bowl
  6. Brew - 3 min
  7. Remove
  8. Add pork ribs to the slow cooker bowl
  9. Transfer marinade to slow cooker bowl and cover
  10. Cook in slow cooker - 30 min, high heat
  11. Cook in slow cooker - 8 hr, low heat
  12. Line a clean baking sheet with foil
  13. Pre-heat in grill - medium-high heat
  14. Add soy sauce and runny honey to a clean small bowl
  15. Mix with tablespoon until well combined
  16. Transfer pork to baking sheet
  17. Transfer glaze to meat evenly
  18. Broil in grill until browned - 15 min, medium-high heat
  19. Serve
