Step preview

  1. Pre-heat oven - 175°C
  2. Line 2 clean baking sheets with parchment paper
  3. Add unsalted butter, cream cheese, granulated sugar and vanilla extract to a clean large mixing bowl
  4. Mix until creamy
  5. Add salt and all purpose flour to a clean medium bowl
  6. Transfer dry ingredients to dough
  7. Add walnuts to the medium bowl
  8. Mix dough until well combined
  9. Turn out on lightly-floured surface
  10. Form
  11. Roll in walnuts
  12. Chill in freezer until firm - 15 min
  13. Cut carefully
  14. Transfer dough to 2 baking sheets
  15. Bake until golden brown - 18 min, 175°C
  16. Transfer onto cooling rack and let cool
