Peanut butter cookies just taste like home. There is something about the aroma that fills the kitchen and the fabulous crumbly texture as you bite into these little treasures. We use "creamy peanut butter" instead of "crunchy" because creamy is more moist. If your dough is too dry, add more peanut butter.

Step preview

  1. Pre-heat oven - 175°C
  2. Place peanut butter in mixing bowl and give it a quick mix just to loosen it up
  3. Add egg and sugar
  4. Mix until sugar has dissolved
  5. Use a small scoop or teaspoon to scoop out cookie dough and use your hands to roll into balls
  6. Place on ungreased cookie sheet and use a fork to make a pattern on top of each cookie
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges begin to brown - 175°C
  8. Let sit on cookie sheet for a couple of minutes before your place them on the cooling rack
  9. Transfer onto cooling rack until cool
