Step preview

  1. Add rolled oats, water and salt to a clean saucepan
  2. Heat until boiling - high heat
  3. Boil - approx 2 min, high heat
  4. Simmer while stirring occasionally - approx 5 min, medium heat
  5. Remove from heat when it has absorbed most of the liquid
  6. Transfer oat mixture to small bowl
