Step preview

  1. Pre-heat oven - 190°C
  2. Add potato to a clean cutting board and chop into quarters
  3. Transfer potatoes to saucepan and add water
  4. Boil - 10 min
  5. Drain with sieve and transfer potatoes to baking pan
  6. Use a potato masher to crush the potatoes leaving lots of yummy bits to crisp up
  7. Add olive oil, black pepper and salt to the baking pan
  8. Bake - 15 min, 190°C
  9. Remove from the oven and add hake fillet
  10. Bake - 10 min
  11. Add olive oil, scallion, garlic clove, baby spinach and nutmeg to a clean frying pan
  12. Panfry - approx 5 min
  13. Transfer vegetables to plate and arrange the fish
  14. Add butter and lemon and melt
  15. Drizzle fish with sauce
