Step preview

  1. In a small bowl add mascarpone, orange zest and vanilla. Combine together using a fork and set aside
  2. Slice the brioche into 1 inch thick slices
  3. Add 1 egg to a medium bowl with milk, cinnamon, maple syrup, vanilla and a pinch of salt
  4. Whisk together
  5. Dip each brioche slice into the egg mixture and coat each side of the brioche
  6. Grease the air fryer basket with a spray oil or a pastry brush
  7. Lightly oil each side of the brioche using a pastry brush or spray oil
  8. Add the brioche to the air fryer basket
  9. Air fry for 8 mins
  10. Flip brioche and air fry for a further 5 mins
  11. Serve brioche with a generous spoon full of the orange mascarpone, some fresh berries and a generous glug of maple syrup
