Step preview

  1. Set Instant Pot to Saute function
  2. Add butter to pot and melt
  3. Add onions
  4. Cook until softened
  5. Add garlic
  6. Cook for about a minute more
  7. Add paprika, turmeric, salt, black pepper, red pepper flakes, and saffron threads
  8. Stir and cook for about 1 minute
  9. Add red peppers
  10. Add rice and stir
  11. Cook for about 30 seconds to 1 minute
  12. Add chicken broth and white wine
  13. Deglaze your pot by stirring to ensure that there is no food stuck to the bottom of the pot
  14. Add shrimp on top
  15. Close and lock the lid and turn the steam release handle to Sealing
  16. Pressure cook, High for 5 minutes, then quick-release the pressure
  17. Remove shrimp from pot and peel if desired
  18. Serve with cilantro
