Pre-heat oven - 175°C
Grease 2 clean mini doughnut pans
Add all purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, ground cinnamon, ground ginger, allspice, ground cloves, salt and brown sugar to a clean large mixing bowl
Whisk briefly until combined
Add egg, milk and applesauce to the batter
Add unsalted butter to a clean small bowl
Melt in microwave - low heat
Add melted butter to the batter and mix until combined
Transfer batter to 2 mini doughnut pans
Bake until springy to touch - 7 min, 175°C
Add unsalted butter, brown sugar, maple syrup, milk and powdered sugar to a clean saucepan and mix
