Step preview

  1. Add flour, salt and baking powder to a large mixing bowl
  2. In a separate bowl whisk together the egg, milk and melted butter
  3. Combine the wet and dry ingredients to make the batter
  4. Grease the Crispy Pot with oil or butter
  5. Place the Crispy Pot into the Panasonic 4-in-1 Oven without the lid and microwave on High for 3 minutes
  6. Grease a measuring spoon
  7. Leave the Crispy Pot in the microwave and spoon out 8-10 tablespoons of blini mix into the Crispy Pot
  8. Place the lid on top and microwave on High for 1.5 minutes
  9. Remove the lid, flip each blini, replace the lid and microwave for a further 1.5 minutes
  10. Remove the cooked blinis, while leaving the Crispy Pot in the microwave add a small bit more butter or oil and spoon out another 8-10 blinis
  11. Place the lid on top and microwave on High for 1.5 minutes
  12. Remove the lid, flip the blinis, replace the lid and microwave on high for 1.5 minutes
  13. Repeat until all the batter is done
  14. Once the blinis have cooled add 1/4 teaspoon of creme fraiche on each mini pancake, add a strip of smoked salmon on top, some chives and seson with freshly cracked pepper
  15. Place the smoked salmon blinis onto a serving plate or board and serve
