Easy, moist banana bread recipe. This is a great base recipe that you can make your own by adding other flavors. Chocolate chips, toasted coconut, and almond extract are all great additions.

Step preview

  1. Pre-heat oven - 160°C
  2. Add baking soda, salt and all purpose flour to a clean medium bowl then set aside
  3. Add banana to a clean medium bowl
  4. Mash completely
  5. Add granulated sugar and egg to the medium bowl
  6. Add unsalted butter to the medium bowl
  7. Whisk completely until completely mixed
  8. Mix carefully until just combined
  9. Grease in cake tin
  10. Pour evenly in cake tin
  11. Bake until just cooked and let cool - 50 min, 160°C, middle rack
