Step preview

  1. Pre-heat oven - 200°C, high heat
  2. Slice ciabatta into rounds
  3. Toast lightly in toaster
  4. Add piquillo peppers, green onion, lime juice and caster sugar to a clean medium bowl and mix
  5. Line a clean baking sheet with foil
  6. Add olive oil to the baking sheet
  7. Add fresh rosemary and black pepper to a clean plate
  8. Mix together
  9. Add soft goat cheese to the cutting board
  10. Brush with egg white
  11. Roll the goat's cheese in the rosemary and pepper mixture to coat
  12. Slice evenly
  13. Transfer cheese mixture to baking sheet
  14. Broil until browned - approx 2 min
  15. Top ciabatta slices with a spoonful of salsa, then a slice of cooked cheese
  16. Serve immediately
