Koolsla, the Dutch word for "cabbage salad" is a dish that first appeared in the Americas in the 17th century. Our version uses two types of cabbage coated in a buttermilk dressing. It's a crunchy, slightly sweet coleslaw, perfect for picnics and barbecues.
