This holiday Turkey recipe has been adapted by Thermomix US for use with the TM5.

Large resealable plastic bag
Step preview
Add brown sugar, sea salt, onion granules, chili flakes, fresh rosemary, bay leaves, white pepper, black peppercorns, allspice, chili flakes and dry white wine to the TM5 bowl
Mix with MC in place - 10 sec, speed 6
Add turkey to a clean large resealable plastic bag
Pour marinade mixture into meat
Marinate in fridge - approx 24 hr
Pre-heat oven - 174°C
Rinse turkey to remove all brining liquid and spices
Pat bird dry inside and out and allow to come to room temperature
Transfer meat to large roasting dish
Stuff with orange and fresh thyme
Add unsalted butter, bourbon, maple syrup, orange juice and fresh thyme to the mixture
Heat - 10 min, 100°C, speed 1
Transfer half of mixture to meat
Insert a temperature probe into the thickest part of the turkey's thigh
