Everyone loves a good cheeseball so how about a melty cheese ball wrapped in prosciutto? This recipe is truly decadent and worth the effort!

Step preview

  1. Add cheddar cheese, Red Leicester Cheese, umami paste, fresh rosemary and white wine to the TM5 bowl
  2. Blend with MC in place - approx 1 min, speed 7
  3. Scrape down sides of TM5 bowl
  4. Prepare a clean baking sheet with parchment paper
  5. Lay the prosciutto into a star pattern on a piece of foil or baking paper
  6. Dollop the cheese mixture into the centre of the prosciutto and push together to form a round, using a spatula
  7. Wrap each piece of the prosciutto up and over the cheese, wrapping it completely
  8. Garnish with remaining sprig of rosemary
  9. Refrigerate for flavour to develop for at least 24 hours
  10. Pre-heat a clean large cast iron skillet oven - 220°C
  11. Place the cheese into the pan and back into the oven
  12. Cook for around 10–15 minutes or until the prosciutto is fragrant and the cheese is starting to melt
  13. Serve immediately with bread, toast or crackers of choice
