Step preview

  1. Add egg, buttermilk, golden caster sugar and ?salt flakes to the TM5 bowl
  2. Blend with MC fitted - 10 sec, speed 8
  3. Then add self raising flour to the batter
  4. Combine - 20 sec, dough
  5. Add melted butter
  6. Combine - 10 sec, dough
  7. Pre-heat a clean frying pan - 5 min, medium heat
  8. Brush with extra virgin olive oil
  9. Scoop about 1/3 cup batter into the frying pan and cook on one side until bubbles arise to the surface
  10. Flip and cook the other side
  11. Serve warm, with toppings of choice
