Step preview

  1. Add olive oil to a clean Dutch oven
  2. Heat - high heat
  3. Add beef filet to the Dutch oven
  4. Fry until light golden - 3 min
  5. Transfer meat to the plate
  6. Add olive oil, onion, carrot and celery stalk to the Dutch oven
  7. Add tomato purée, all purpose flour, fresh thyme and red wine to the Dutch oven
  8. Fry until liquid has evaporated - 3 min
  9. Add beef stock to the Dutch oven
  10. Simmer - 15 min
  11. Transfer meat back to the Dutch oven
  12. Pre-heat in broiler - high heat
  13. Rub garlic clove onto a bread
  14. Arrange the garlic bread slices on top of the stew
  15. Broil in broiler until crispy - 3 min
  16. Serve
