Step preview

  1. Add onion, garlic clove, ginger, ground turmeric, ground cloves, chili flakes, ground cinnamon, curry paste, lemon juice and sugar to a clean food processor bowl
  2. Blend into a fine paste
  3. Transfer marinade to the medium bowl and add the turkey breast
  4. Mix then set aside
  5. Heat peanut oil to a clean frying pan
  6. Add onion to the frying pan and fry until golden brown and crispy stirring occasionally
  7. Remove crispy onions to the paper towel and set aside to use for later
  8. Add cauliflower and fry gently for approx 5 min
  9. Add onion and fry until softened for 5 more minutes
  10. Transfer cauliflower and onion to another paper towel to drain and set aside
  11. Add peanut oil to the pan and heat for a moment
  12. Add marinated turkey and marinade to the pan and fry gently while stirring occasionally for about 5 min
  13. Add bay leaves, basmati rice and chicken stock to the frying pan
  14. Bring to boil, then reduce the heat and simmer until tender - 12 min
  15. Stir nigella seeds into the frying pan
  16. Add cauliflower and heat through, garnish with the crispy onions
  17. Season with salt & pepper
  18. Garnish with almonds
  19. Serve immediately
