Homemade piri piri is spicy, fragrant and simple to make. Feel free to use chicken if you can’t get your hands on turkey.

- Turkey breast
- 450 g

- Lime juice
- 1 tablespoon

- Sour cream
- 5 tablespoons

Step preview
- Pre-heat in broiler - high heat
- Add sundried tomato, dried oregano, red wine vinegar, smoked paprika, garlic clove and fresh chili to a clean blender jug
- Blend until combined
- Season with salt & pepper well
- Blend until smooth
- Add turkey breast to a clean large mixing bowl
- Transfer marinade to turkey
- Mix with tablespoon until well combined
- Marinate in fridge then set aside
- Add canned chickpeas and lime juice to a clean food processor bowl
- Add with tablespoon
- Pulse briefly until smooth
- Line a clean baking sheet with foil
- Arrange turkey in baking sheet
- Grill in broiler until cooked through - 7 min, high heat
- Serve
- Add lime to the baking sheet
- Serve with sour cream
- Arrange flour tortilla in the baking sheet
