Step preview

  1. Heat sunflower oil in a clean medium cast iron skillet over medium heat
  2. Add chicken thighs to the medium cast iron skillet bit by bit
  3. Fry until light golden while stirring occasionally
  4. Transfer chicken to slow cooker bowl
  5. Add onion, green chili, ginger and korma paste to the medium cast iron skillet
  6. Fry while stirring occasionally - approx 3 min, medium heat
  7. Add coconut milk, chicken stock, ground almonds, cilantro and salt & pepper
  8. Heat until boiling
  9. Transfer to slow cooker
  10. Cook until tender - 6 hr, low heat
  11. Stir in plain yogurt
  12. Add tomato
  13. Garnish with cilantro
