This recipe is perfect for when you want a warming but light dessert after a big meal. Cranberries, plums are grapes are simmered for hours in the slow cooker until tender and aromatic. Cooling dollops of lemon curd cream turn this into a truly indulgent dessert.

Step preview

  1. Add cranberries and plum to a clean slow cooker bowl
  2. Place seedless black grapes on the slow cooker bowl
  3. Add cornstarch and red grape juice to a clean medium bowl
  4. Mix until smooth
  5. Get slow cooker bowl
  6. Pour mixture into slow cooker bowl
  7. Add superfine sugar, cinnamon stick and orange peel to the slow cooker bowl
  8. Stir together and cover
  9. Cook in slow cooker until tender - approx 3 hr, low heat
  10. Stir
  11. Remove
  12. Serve
  13. Serve with lemon curd and heavy cream
