- Slivered almonds
- 25 g

- 4 tablespoons

- Orange peel
- 3

- Saffron threads
- ½ teaspoon

- Orange juice
- 2 tablespoons

- Fish stock
- 160 ml

Step preview
- Add halibut steak to a clean cutting board
- Season with salt & pepper lightly
- Add olive oil to a clean large cast iron skillet
- Heat
- Add orange peel and onion to the large cast iron skillet
- Sauté gently - 5 min
- Add cumin seeds, coriander seeds and garlic clove to the large cast iron skillet
- Fry - 3 min
- Transfer fish to large cast iron skillet
- Mix until coated
- Crumble saffron threads over the large cast iron skillet
- Pour orange juice and fish stock into the large cast iron skillet
- Sprinkle with dates and slivered almonds and cover
- Cook until cooked through - 25 min
- Season with salt & pepper to taste
- Serve
