Step preview

  1. Pre-heat broiler - high heat
  2. Add butter to a clean large saucepan
  3. Heat over medium heat
  4. Add all purpose flour, garlic clove and chili flakes
  5. Stir until thickened
  6. Reduce heat completely
  7. Add milk and whisk until thickened - approx 4 min
  8. Stir brown mushrooms and baby spinach
  9. Stir until wilted then reduce heat
  10. Add gnocchi to a clean baking dish
  11. Pour sauce over gnocchi
  12. Stir until combined
  13. Top with mozzarella cheese
  14. Broil in broiler until melted - approx 5 min
  15. Divide baked gnocchi between 4 plates
  16. Add mixed green salad
  17. Serve
