These healthy snack bars are gluten, grain, wheat, additive and dairy-free. Honey, Medjool dates and goji berries are used to sweeten the nutritious nuts and seed base. The type of protein powder should not affect this much.

Step preview

  1. Pre-heat oven - 160°C
  2. Grease a clean glass baking dish
  3. Line with parchment paper
  4. Add dried apricots, medjool dates, mixed nuts, shredded coconut and goji berries to the TM5 bowl
  5. Blitz with MC in place - approx 3 sec, turbo
  6. Transfer content of TM5 bowl to large mixing bowl
  7. Add almonds to the TM5 bowl
  8. Blitz with MC in place - approx 8 sec, speed 9
  9. Then add protein powder to the TM5 bowl
  10. Mix with MC in place - approx 5 min, speed 5
  11. Scrape down sides of TM5 bowl
  12. Return contents of large mixing bowl to TM5 bowl
  13. Add egg, honey, water, chia seeds, sunflower seeds, flaxseeds and pumpkin seeds to the TM5 bowl
  14. Mix - approx 30 sec, reverse speed 4
  15. Press contents of TM5 bowl into glass baking dish evenly
  16. Bake until light golden - 20 min, 160°C
  17. Let cool
  18. Cut into bars
  19. Store in fridge
