Step preview

  1. Line 2 clean baking sheets with parchment paper
  2. Add rolled oats, all purpose flour, wheat germ, baking soda, baking powder, ground cinnamon and salt to a clean large mixing bowl
  3. Whisk briefly until blended
  4. Add unsalted butter, light brown sugar and granulated sugar to a clean stand mixer bowl
  5. Cream butter and sugar for about 2 minutes
  6. Add egg to the dough one by one while mixing
  7. Add vanilla extract to the dough
  8. Transfer dry ingredients to the mixer bowl and mix until combined
  9. Add raisins
  10. Mix until mixture comes together
  11. Chill in fridge - 20 min
  12. Pre-heat oven - 175°C
  13. Scoop dough onto 2 baking sheets
  14. Press lightly
  15. Bake until browned at edges - 12 min, 175°C
  16. Let cool - approx 5 min
  17. Transfer onto cooling rack
